Medical Associates Plus in Evans, GA is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant (full-time) to support outpatient patient care under licensed providers. The role combines clinical tasks, patient communication, and documentation in the EHR to ensure safe, efficient care.

You will perform vital signs, phlebotomy, EKGs, medication administration under supervision, and help with care coordination. The position requires a high school diploma or GED, completion of an approved Medical Assistant program,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program required; certification through AAMA, AMT, or NCCT preferred.
• Current CPR/BLS certification preferred.
• Experience with EHR systems and basic clinical documentation preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist providers with vital signs, patient histories, and clinical procedures.
• Administer medications as ordered by a physician or mid-level provider.
• Perform venipuncture, EKGs, IV starts (as allowed under supervision).
• Document care accurately in the EHR and maintain patient records.
• Provide patient education and discharge instructions; assist with referrals and follow-up care.
• Monitor patients and report concerns to the provider promptly.
• Ensure exam rooms are stocked and equipment is maintained.
• Uphold infection control standards and comply with regulations.
