• Must have a valid SD Nursing License.
• Medical Assistants must be certified through an accredited program.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate care for patients through entire visit, including vitals, history, and updating medications and charting in the EHR.
• Provide patient education and care coordination for preventive and specialty visits; develop care plans including self-management goals.
• Perform nursing skills (injections, vaccinations, labs, x-rays) as permitted by scope of license and receive on-the-job training for labs and x-rays.
