Job summary

Lifepoint Health Centerpoint - Winchester is hiring an Outpatient Cardiac Rehab RN to provide bedside care in a fast-paced outpatient setting. The role supports cardiac rehab patients, coordinates care, and ensures adherence to clinical standards.

The position requires a KY RN license, an Associate's Degree in Nursing, BCLS certification, and a willingness to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. A sign-on bonus is available for qualifying candidates.

Qualifications

• KY RN license required.
• Associate's Degree in Nursing required.
• BCLS required.
• ACLS and PALS preferred.
• Handle with Care preferred.
• Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates staffing scheduling, educational/development activities, and performance evaluations.
• Identifies and resolves issues affecting delivery of clinical services and patient flow.
• Performs quality assurance studies and assists with QA/QI initiatives.
• Serves as a resource to staff and external contacts regarding clinical standards, policies, and procedures.
• Monitors departmental compliance with accreditation, legal, and The Joint Commission requirements.
• Provides direct patient care as needed in accordance with scope and standards of practice.
• Participates in performance improvement and continuing education.
• Provides quality patient care and works other shifts/units as needed.
• Maintains regular and reliable attendance.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
