Endeavor Health in Highland Park, IL is seeking an Echocardiographer/Cardiac Sonographer for a full-time role at our Highland Park Hospital location. The position offers a strong sign-on bonus for qualified experience and requires RDCS/RCS certification with CPR on hire.

Expect to perform diverse echo exams, maintain a compliant lab, document in EMR, and participate in CME activities and quality initiatives. Lifting of heavy equipment is part of the job, with compensation aligned to experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical echocardiography experience.
• RDCS certification (ARDMS) or RCS (CCI) with within 2 years for new grads; CPR certification required on hire.
• Associate’s degree in Echocardiography and completion of 320 internship hours or 1 year echo training.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and complete exams across modalities (TEE, TTE, stress, intraoperative, research, pediatric) with worksheet in reporting system prior to physician review.
• Maintain a clean lab space and proper lab equipment.
• Document in EMR and take vitals.
• Demonstrate critical thinking and flag significant echocardiography findings.
• Participate in monthly education meetings (CME provided).
• Participate in quality initiatives.
• Maintain current knowledge per ASE guidelines.
