Job summary

Valley Springs Behavioral Health Hospital in Holyoke, MA, is seeking a Therapist, Outpatient to join a split-location team in Greenfield and Holyoke. Monday–Friday 7am - 3:30pm; full-time days.

Requires a Master's in Social Work or equivalent, state license, CPR/BLS and Handle with Care within 30 days. You will conduct individual and group therapy, provide family sessions, and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Social Work or equivalent; state license required.
• CPR/BLS certification and Handle with Care within 30 days.

Responsibilities

• Conducts individual and group therapy sessions to address psychological, emotional, or substance issues.
• Provides family session counseling to involve family and support systems.
• Collaborates with the interdisciplinary team including physicians and nursing staff.
• Demonstrates proactive communication with UR and treatment planning.
• Completes documentation timely and accurately in hospital systems.
