Job summary

The City of Chesapeake invites applications for the Outpatient Licensed Program Supervisor. This leadership role oversees adult, child, and substance use outpatient services with a strong clinical and administrative focus.

You will supervise senior clinicians, guide risk management, and coordinate care across partners while monitoring budgets and performance to ensure high-quality community health services.

Qualifications

• Requires master’s degree in psychology, social work, counseling, or related field.
• Minimum four years of related, full-time experience.
• State licensure as Clinical Psychologist, Social Worker, or Counselor in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and clinical services of outpatient units.
• Provide clinical and administrative supervision to senior clinicians.
• Monitor budget, payroll, workflows, and supervision requirements.
• Coordinate program services with internal and external partners.
• Ensure services meet DBHDS, Medicaid, city policies and regulations.
