Job summary

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related behavioral health field (or pursuing).
• 3 years clinical experience with demonstrated results in improving performance, required.
• 2 years experience with chronically mentally ill populations, required.
• 3 years prior experience in clinical counseling or management, preferred.
• Licensure in IA/IL/WI as applicable (e.g., LCSW/LCMFT/LMHC or equivalent), required.

Responsibilities

• Leads daily operations of assigned behavioral health programs to deliver high-quality, cost-effective services.
• Provides departmental leadership, direction, and support; sets goals and monitors effectiveness.
• Oversees staffing activities including hiring, orientation, training, scheduling, and evaluations.
• Develops and implements policies, promotes multidisciplinary teamwork, and serves as liaison.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and monitors payer-related requirements.
• Manages expenses and revenue to meet financial benchmarks.
• Coaches staff, fosters growth, and represents the organization professionally.
• Collaborates with physicians and health-care teams to coordinate interdisciplinary care.
• Oversees care coordination and transitions for complex patients.
• Drives continuous process improvement and contributes to community partnerships.
