Job summary

Rutgers University Behavioral Health Care (RBHC) seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse for Intensive Outpatient Treatment and Support Services to provide direct medical care, wellness counseling, and treatments in a safe outpatient environment. Responsibilities include case management, psycho-education, and coordination with various RBHS programs.

The role requires NJ LPN licensure, a valid driver’s license, and data documentation duties.

Qualifications

• Currently licensed as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Valid driver's license.
• Valid registration as a Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of New Jersey.
• Able to use computer to document service and enter data.
• Community based experience; 6–12 months preferred in mental health.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct medical care and wellness counseling in an intensive outpatient setting.
• Perform treatments and procedures within established guidelines.
• Provide case management, mental health services and coordination with programs.
• Maintain consumer records per RBHS policy; support program goals.
