Job summary

Cottonwood Tucson, Inc. seeks a Director of Outpatient Services to lead the day-to-day operations of the outpatient department in Tucson, AZ. The role oversees clinical staff, treatment planning, discharge planning, and community referrals to ensure high-quality care.

Independent clinical licensure (LCSW, LPC, etc.) is required, with leadership in PHP/IOP/OP settings. You will drive program development, staff coaching, and adherence to regulatory standards to ensure safe and effective therapy.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required in clinical, psychology or social service field.
• Three or more years’ experience in substance use disorder treatment.
• State licensure required or preferred with independent practice eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Plans, develops and implements evidence-based quality programming for all outpatient services.
• Reviews progress and effectiveness of outpatient programs and ensures regulatory compliance.
• Hires, orients, and manages staff; oversees scheduling and performance assessments.
• Oversees treatment planning, discharge planning and community referrals; coordinates care with the multidisciplinary team.
• Leads quarterly program reviews and quality improvement initiatives.
