Job summary

Highland Springs is seeking a Director of Outpatient Services to oversee all outpatient clinical treatment programs for patients with psychiatric and substance use issues. You will supervise therapists, ensure high‑quality care, and manage discharge planning and documentation in a compliant environment.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in social work or equivalent.
• Current unencumbered clinical social work or counseling license.
• Experience in outpatient healthcare with psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment knowledge.
• CPR and CPI certification within 30 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all outpatient clinical treatment programs for psychiatric and substance use patients.
• Supervise therapists and provide feedback through evaluations, supervision, and training.
• Ensure clinical documentation meets regulatory standards and remains current.
• Coordinate discharge planning for optimal post-hospital transition.
• Collaborate with HR, Quality, and other departments to improve patient outcomes.
