Job summary

Covington ENT & Allergy Clinic is seeking a warm, mission-driven LPN to support our Allergy Department in an outpatient setting. Responsibilities include preparing patients for allergy testing, administering injections, and supporting individualized treatment plans.

Qualifications

• Active LPN license in good standing.
• Experience in outpatient clinic setting preferred; allergy clinic experience is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail when preparing and administering patient-specific treatments.
• Excellent patient-focused communication with warm, empathetic approach.
• Ability to follow protocols, maintain privacy, and document care accurately.
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with safety and compassion at the center.

Responsibilities

• Perform allergy testing, including preparing patients and procedures as directed by protocols.
• Prepare allergy immunotherapy regimens with accurate mixing, labeling and organization.
• Give allergy injections safely and confidently per clinic guidelines.
• Monitor patients before, during, and after injections for adverse reactions.
• Educate and counsel patients on treatment plans, timing, and self-care after injections.
• Provide clear, compassionate communication to help patients feel informed and supported.
• Maintain accurate records in the patient chart for testing, injections and observations.
• Support smooth clinic flow by preparing rooms, stocking supplies, and coordinating with care team.
