Job summary

Allergy, Asthma & Sinus Center in Virginia is seeking a full-time MA or LPN to join a busy, growing practice. The ideal candidate will be energetic, positive, and able to multi-task while delivering excellent patient care.

The role requires VA licensure for LPN or MA certification, at least 1 year of clinical experience, with allergy experience preferred. We offer full-time benefits including vacation, health and dental insurance, and a 401K.

Qualifications

• High School Degree or GED required.
• LPN must hold a current, unencumbered license to practice in the state of VA.
• MA must be certified.
• Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; allergy experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Allergy testing as ordered by the physician.
• Administering allergy injections.
• Dilutional extracts for allergy testing and mixing trays.
• Intradermal and patch testing.
• Penicillin testing.
• Patient education regarding allergies and asthma treatment.
• Calibrating PFT.
• Nitric Oxide testing (ENO).
• Assessing patient’s status and respond to reactions.
• Maintaining the nursing area (equipment, space and supplies).
• Other duties as assigned by management.
