Job summary

UNC Health in Raleigh, NC is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider to join an interdisciplinary team in outpatient care, aligned with credentialing privileges. This is a full-time, onsite position serving the Smithfield and Clayton offices in Johnston County.

Responsibilities include obtaining history, performing exams, developing differential diagnoses, creating treatment plans, and educating patients. Collaboration with supervising physicians and healthcare teams is essential.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited graduate-level Advanced Practice Provider program.
• North Carolina APRN/PA licensure required.
• Board certification if required by the Department; DEA registration may be required.

Responsibilities

• Obtain health history and perform physical exams; develop differential diagnoses.
• Develop and implement treatment plans including prescribing/ordering evidence-based therapies.
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and follow-up.
• Lead and collaborate with physicians, housestaff, nursing, and other staff to improve care.
• Document care in the medical record to support accurate billing and quality reporting.
