Job summary

Omni Hotels & Resorts is seeking a part-time Food & Beverage Server for Centro. You will greet guests, take orders, and provide attentive service in a fast-paced hotel restaurant. Knowledge of wine, beer, and beverage service, plus the ability to upsell, are essential.

Maintain a professional appearance and comply with food-handling requirements. You will use MICROS to enter orders, coordinate with the culinary team, and support in seating guests and answering phones as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience in high-volume casual or upscale hotel restaurant.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Unexpired Food Handlers certificate required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate needs, and respond to inquiries.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly, professional manner.
• Familiarity with menus and beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station setup and breakdown/side-work.
• Polish and clean water glassware on assigned station.
• Take food and beverage orders and upsell when possible.
• Greet guests by surname when available.
• Send orders using MICROS systems.
• Coordinate with culinary team on meal requirements and dietary needs.
• Inform manager of guest suggestions or issues.
• Present accurate checks and process payments.
• Assist in seating guests and answering phones as needed.
• Cross-train in other outlets as needed.
• Perform other duties assigned by restaurant manager.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries or requests.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
• Must maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
• Polish and clean all water glassware on assigned station during each shift.
• Take food and beverage orders andupsellas often as possible.
• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests using surnames when obtained.
