Job description

The Outlet Sales Floor Associate maintains the outlet store environment with prompt and accurate product placement, stock rotation, and salvage.

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:

Contribute to the Goodwill Mission by maximizing the value of donations. Maintain the outlet store environment, meet individual and outlet production goals.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

1. Maintain product safety and recognize CPSC non-saleable merchandise.
2. Communicate issues with product quality, low inventory, supply needs, and suggest process improvements to management.
3. Pull full commodity bins to the staging area, set up and label bins accordingly.
4. Place products and supplies in designated areas according to store standards.
5. Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and escalate customer concerns to management.
6. Ensure customers follow shopping rules, including crowd control measures.
7. Operate equipment and machinery safely and responsibly.
8. Safely move and arrange properly priced furniture, assisting with customer requests.
9. Maintain a clean, friendly, and safe store environment for all customers.
10. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Retail or production experience preferred.
• Flexible schedule and hours.

PHYSICAL/SENSORY DEMANDS:

• Move safely throughout the property.
• Stand, bend, reach for the duration of the shift.
• Lift up to 75 pounds and push/pull cages weighing 600 pounds.
• Grasp merchandise and observe visually.
• Hear and respond to paging and warning devices.
