Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. seeks an Inventory Planner for the Outlet channel to drive strategic planning and management of inventory across Outlet Stores and Outlet Online.

You will own sales, margin, and inventory plans, coordinating with Buyers, Distribution, and field leadership to maximize MMU and turnover. You will partner on pre-season and in-season plans, manage returns and overstock, and develop actionable insights using BI tools to support profitable growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• 3–5 years of Merchandise Planning or Inventory Management experience.
• Outlet/clearance experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel and BI tools experience.

Responsibilities

• Own monthly Open to Buy forecasting of Outlet sales, MMU, receipts, and EOP inventory by brand and channel.
• Plan and manage pre-season and annual Outlet plans aligned with financial goals.
• Manage inventory flow including brand overstock transfers and returns to optimize MMU and turnover.
• Provide reporting on inventory positions and performance across stores and DCs.
• Collaborate with Buyers, Distribution, and Finance to optimize inventory strategy.
