Williams-Sonoma, Inc. seeks an Inventory Planner, Outlet to manage strategic inventory across Outlet Stores and Outlet Online. You will own sales, margin, and inventory plans for the Outlet channel and coordinate with Buyers, Distribution, and Field leadership to maximize sales and protect margin.

The role emphasizes data-driven forecasting, inventory transfers, and liquidations, with hybrid onsite/remote work and travel within the country as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 3–5 years in Merchandise Planning or Inventory Management; outlet experience preferred.
• 5+ years in retail is preferred; multi-channel
• Proficient in retail math and open-to-buy processes.
• Strong data interpretation and actionable insight skills.
• Advanced Excel and BI/ERP tool experience.

Responsibilities

• Own Open to Buy forecasting for Outlet sales, MMU, receipts, and EOP inventory by brand and channel.
• Partner with Buyers and Finance to build pre-season and annual Outlet plans.
• Plan and manage a favorable mix of overstock vs. damage inventory to hit MMU goals.
• Forecast in-season and identify inventory risks and opportunities for leadership.
