Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV is seeking seasonal kitchen staff to oversee operations, ensure quality, and support safety and efficiency across the team.

Positions include Sous Chef, Line Cooks, and Utility workers, with early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays common. On-mountain housing, medical benefits, and employee discounts are offered to eligible team members.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• West Virginia Food Handlers Certificate required.
• Two+ years of post‑high school culinary education desirable.
• Proficiency with knives and common culinary equipment (ovens, grills, broilers, sauté pans, fryers).

Education

• Proficient in knife handling and use of culinary equipment (ovens, grills, broilers, sauté pans, fryers)
• Knowledgeable in safe food handling practices
• Experienced in food management principles and problem-solving
• Strong leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
• Capable of working effectively under time constraints and deadlines
