Job summary

Carroll Water is seeking a Well Pump Technician to join our Well and Pump Division. You will assist with installation, service, and maintenance of pump systems, and support drilling crews across residential and commercial sites in Maryland and nearby states.

The role emphasizes safety, hands-on learning, and teamwork. Training and certifications are available, with competitive pay and full-time, year-round employment. CDL opportunities may be provided where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, service, troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of well pump systems.
• Assist drilling and pump crews with daily jobsite operations.
• Load, unload, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment.
• Operate company vehicles, hand tools, power tools, and equipment as trained.
• Assist with well drilling and pump service activities.
• Follow jobsite safety procedures and company policies.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites, vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Communicate professionally with customers and team members.
• Travel to residential, commercial, and other job sites in the service area.
• Participate in training and certification programs to develop skills.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
