Martin Marietta is seeking a skilled welder/fabrication specialist in Salisbury, NC. The role focuses on welding various materials, reading blueprints, operating oxy-fuel and arc welding processes, and maintaining safety and quality standards on a heavy industrial site.

Responsibilities include preparing parts, using positioners and tools, performing inspections, and documenting quality control. Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED and strong mechanical aptitude.

Formación

• HS Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing weather conditions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Self-motivated with high level of accountability.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain a safety-first culture on the job.
• Perform weld build up on crusher parts using manual, semi-automatic and mechanized welding processes.
• Weld using FCAW, GMAW, SMAW, and SAW.
• Use positioners and manipulators for large workpieces.
• Perform cutting with oxyacetylene, plasma, and related tools.
• Inspect with nondestructive testing techniques and document QC results.
• Operate cranes, forklifts, sweepers and manlifts after proper training.
