Job summary

Specialty Building Products is seeking a Material Handler to join our team to load/unload merchandise, move products with RF scanners, and prep orders for delivery. The role is outdoors for a first shift (Mon-Fri, 6:30am–3:30pm) with overtime as needed.

The ideal candidate has at least one year in warehouse distribution and forklift experience. We offer medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, a 401(k) with company match, paid time off, holidays, and extra perks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year warehouse distribution experience.
• Forklift experience.

Responsibilities

• Unload product from LTL trucks.
• Tag new product with Bar Code labels when required.
• Move product from dock to warehouse aisle locations with an RF scanner.
• Pull merchandise from aisle locations during the delivery prep and transfer process using an RF scanner.
• Open and inspect product during the delivery and transfer process.
• Assemble product as required.
• Stage the product for delivery.
• Protect and move product returns in a safe manner to the proper aisle location.
• Dispose of factory packaging as required.
• Must be physically able to operate a variety of equipment including hand trucks, dollies, pallet jacks, hand tools, and Forklifts.
