Job summary

Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Vegetation Coordinator to work outdoors with utility clients and contractors on vegetation management projects.

You will plan work, collect field data, and ensure safety and accuracy across reporting systems. Qualifications include forestry degree or line clearance experience, tree identification + invasive species knowledge, and the ability to travel in rugged terrain; ISA certification is expected within 12 months of offer.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or utility line clearance experience.
• Strong knowledge of tree species and invasive species management.
• Ability to travel and work in rugged terrain and in varied weather.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners & public agencies regarding pruning or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather and manage field data on tree species, size, and distances from conductors.
• Validate data across databases and ensure accurate reporting.
• Enforce on-job safety practices.
• Carry and use materials and equipment at job sites.
• Service and maintain trucks and equipment.
