Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Vegetation Coordinator in Valdosta, GA to manage outdoor vegetation programs for utility clients. You will coordinate pruning, removals, inventories, and hazard assessments while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

The role emphasizes data collection, map navigation, and collaboration with property owners, contractors, and agencies to deliver reliable vegetation management solutions across diverse landscapes.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field and/or experience in utility line clearance.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of offer.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning/removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Perform hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather and manage field data (tree species, size, distance from conductors).
• Validate data across database systems for reporting accuracy.
• Ensure safety and compliance on-site.
