The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic utility foreperson/foreman to lead a tree crew servicing major electric utilities in Santa Fe, NM. Outdoor work with a focus on pruning and removal for safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in utility line clearance tree trimming.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Able to complete Davey Tree Orientation and safety courses on hire.
• CDL-A or CDL-B with no air brake restriction preferred.
• ISA Certified Arborist or TCIA Certified Tree Care Safety Professional preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-5 person crew in pruning and removal for electric utilities.
• Ensure safety and adherence to industry guidelines.
• Operate tools such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts.
• Mentor and train new employees.
• Plan job sites and maintain equipment.
