Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking a dynamic utility foreperson/foreman to join our team of utility line clearance professionals. Your office is outdoors, and you will lead a 2-5 person crew in pruning and removal for major electric utilities.

Qualifications

• Experience with line clearance or related tree work is required.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Ability to climb trees manually is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead a 2-5 person tree crew in pruning and removal for utility providers.
• Prune treetops and remove damaged limbs safely and efficiently.
• Address hazards and follow industry pruning guidelines.
• Inspect job sites, plan tasks and oversee tool operation and safety.
• Maintain, prepare and operate equipment such as chainsaws and lifts.
• Mentor and train new employees.
