Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience in utility locating or related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Familiarity with One-Call systems and 811 regulations is a plus.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Perform underground facility locates in accordance with standards.
• Read maps, GIS records, and work orders to identify utility paths.
• Use locating tools to mark underground utilities.
• Document all locate activities with sketches, notes, photos, and GPS data.
• Respond to routine and emergency locate requests and tickets.
• Communicate clearly with contractors, homeowners, and internal teams.
• Maintain equipment and company vehicles in good condition.
• Ensure safety compliance with OSHA, 811, and One-Call regulations.
• Report mismarks or safety hazards promptly.
• Support team members and participate in special projects.
