USIC is seeking a Locator in Livonia, MI to locate underground utilities and support safe, accurate mark-outs for contractors and property owners. You will work in the field with a company vehicle, part of a team that values quality, safety, and reliable service.

The role requires outdoor work in varying weather, ability to use maps and locate tickets, and flexibility for overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts. Training is provided and career advancement is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Must be willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficient with technology and maps. Able to read locate tickets and prints.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record.
• Able to distinguish colors used to identify wiring and mark underground utilities.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

• Complete necessary documentation and photograph each locate.
