Job summary

USIC is seeking a Locator for full-time field work in the Flint, MI area. You will locate underground utilities, mark their locations, document each locate, and photograph findings as part of our safety-focused team.

Training is provided, and there is potential for advancement within a large nationwide company. A valid driver's license and willingness to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts are required.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Able to pass a drug screen and work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to read, understand locate tickets, maps and prints.
• Able to communicate clearly with colleagues, customers, contractors, and homeowners.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and mark locations, documenting work and photographing each locate.
• Work daytime, full-time with possible overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
