ArborMetrics is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester/Work Planner to support vegetation management for utility corridors. You will work outdoors, perform patrols, assess vegetation, and coordinate with property owners and agencies.

The role emphasizes safety, accuracy in records, and effective communication with clients. Ideal candidates have forestry or related field experience, GIS and Microsoft Office proficiency, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Requires field forestry experience or related green industry knowledge.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to work independently in outdoor settings.
• Proficiency with GIS and Microsoft Office; valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Organize records, maps, and paperwork for patrol circuits; maintain documentation.
• Safely patrol energy corridors; identify vegetation for pruning, removal, or protection.
• Engage with landowners and agencies to obtain permissions and communicate work plans.
• Follow safety protocols and AMS guidelines; travel to assigned work areas.
• Assist in storm and emergency responses as needed.
