Eocene Environmental Group, Inc. is seeking a Consulting Utility Forester to work outdoors with utility clients, property owners, and contractors. You will oversee vegetation management plans, collect field data, and ensure safe, compliant operations across diverse landscapes.

Qualifications

• Degree in forestry or related field.
• Ability to obtain ISA Arborist Certification within 12 months of offer.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Experience in utility line clearance preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contact property owners and public agencies regarding pruning and/or removals.
• Conduct tree and brush inventories.
• Conduct hazard tree inspections and evaluations.
• Plan work for tree contractors.
• Gather and manage field data including species, size, and distance from conductors.
• Validate data across databases to ensure reporting accuracy.
• Verify that summaries and charts reflect underlying datasets.
• Safeguard employees and the public from hazards in work areas.
• Enforce on-the-job safety practices.
• Service trucks and equipment, keep gear organized.
