Utility-Construction-Specialists in New York, NY is seeking a hardworking laborer to support utility and civil construction projects. You will perform digging, trenching, loading, site cleanup, and assist with installation, maintenance, and repair of infrastructure.

This role requires OSHA 10 certification, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and the stamina for outdoor work in varying weather.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10-Hour Certification required at time of hire or within 90 days.
• 3 years experience in utilities, telecommunications, civil construction, or related field (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Commercial Driver License or willingness to obtain (preferred).
• Ability to pass a drug test, background check, and medical card evaluation.
• Knowledge of basic construction safety practices.
• Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English related to job duties and safety requirements.

Responsabilités

• Performs general labor tasks including digging, trenching, shoveling, loading/unloading materials, setting structures, and site cleanup.
• Assists with job site setup, maintenance, and breakdown.
• Follows directions from the Foreman or Site Supervisor to support daily project activities.
• Safely operates hand tools and equipment in accordance with company policies and OSHA standards.
