Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking entry-level and skilled tree trimmers and climbers for outdoor work across various weather conditions. The role involves climbing, trimming, and removing branches to clear utility powerlines, with on-the-job training provided.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to walk, climb, and work from ladders, or at various heights, on uneven and slippery surfaces while handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with the aid of a ladder, safety belt, climbing line, powered trimmer lift truck, or from the ground using saws and pruners.
• Uses wedges, sledges, and chainsaws to fell trees or trim trunks and split logs into pieces.
• Operate and service all required tools/equipment.
• Plan, assign, direct, check, and coordinate work.
• Obtain permission from property owners to trim or remove trees and coordinate access.

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent

No experience required

Previous experience is a plus
