Job summary

SavATree is seeking a General Tree Care Team member to work outdoors on diverse properties, performing pruning, removals and related tasks. You will climb, use chainsaws, and operate bucket trucks with safety as a core value, ensuring healthy landscapes for clients.

Ideal candidates have pruning experience on large trees, species identification skills, and a strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship in all weather conditions.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).

Responsibilities

• Work on a General Tree Care crew delivering high quality tree care including pruning, removals, cable bracing and related tasks.
• Safely operate equipment and perform assigned tasks while delivering excellent service to clients.
• Collaborate with team to maintain landscape health and client satisfaction.
