Job summary

SavATree is seeking a General Tree Care team member to support field operations and help preserve and enhance client landscapes. You’ll collaborate with crew members to perform pruning, removals, cabling, and other essential tasks on diverse properties.

You’ll learn climbing techniques, operate chainsaws and rigging equipment, and apply safety protocols while delivering high-quality service. This role offers hands-on outdoor work and opportunities to build expertise in arboriculture.

Qualifications

• A valid U.S. driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Desire to work outdoors and a passion for tree care.
• Willingness to learn climbing without spurs and pruning techniques.
• Interest in mastering chainsaw operation and equipment handling.
• Commitment to safety and quality in all tasks.
• Authorization to lawfully work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with crew members to perform pruning, removals, cabling, bracing, and other essential tree care tasks.
• Operating chainsaws, rigging, and other specialized equipment safely and effectively.
• Applying climbing and pruning techniques to maintain tree health and safety.
• Providing excellent service to clients while working on a variety of properties.
• Learning and applying proper safety protocols and industry best practices.
