Job summary

Path Light Pro is seeking a detail-oriented Stormwater Erosion Inspector to join our outdoors-focused team in Pittsburgh, PA. This entry-level role involves evaluating construction sites for EPA Stormwater compliance, OSHA safety, and energy-code alignment, with emphasis on BMPs and regulatory awareness.

You will document findings electronically, communicate requirements to client site personnel, and support site records like SWPPP logs and BMP maps.

Qualifications

• AA/AS Degree or Trade/Vocational Degree required.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather.
• Must be able to travel and work at remote sites.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site evaluations for EPA Stormwater compliance and OSHA safety.
• Verify erosion/sediment control practices and energy code requirements are met.
• Complete site evaluation documentation in electronic systems and Stormwater/Safety/Energy log books.
• Communicate regulatory requirements to client onsite personnel.
• Maintain and update SWPPP logs, BMP maps, and site postings.
• Communicate daily with supervisor and maintain client relationships.
• Support learning/regulatory updates and provide value with Path Light Pro services.
