Job summary

Cleghorn Gun Club is seeking a dependable Part-Time Sporting Clays Course Assistant to help operate and maintain our facilities. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys the outdoors, working with people, and being part of a team in a sporting environment.

The role includes work in the Pro Shop and on the course to support daily operations and deliver an excellent experience for members and guests. The Course Assistant will join a 15-station sporting clays course and a 5-Stand venue, with

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to safely lift and carry 35 pounds.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently.
• Experience around firearms is preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn safe firearm handling practices and club procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist members and guests with sporting clays activities.
• Operate and manage the Pro Shop point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Check in customers and process sales transactions.
• Load and maintain clay target traps throughout the course.
• Perform general grounds maintenance and upkeep.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming facility.
• Assist with daily course preparation and closing procedures.
• Provide general customer support and answer questions about course operations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
