Job summary

Great Plains Manufacturing, Ellsworth Facility is seeking an Outside Shipper for 1st shift. The role runs Monday through Thursday, 6:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with overtime as needed, in Ellsworth, KS.

Primary duties include safely loading products onto various trailers, working outside in all weather, and maintaining accurate paperwork. Preferred candidates have forklift experience, strong communication, and a mechanical background.

Qualifications

• Ability to safely load and unload product while following safety procedures.
• Experience operating a variety of forklifts is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are important.

Responsibilities

• Safely load GP product on trailers.
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Maintain paperwork accuracy and complete required forms.
• Be flexible with overtime and short-notice hours.
• Possess mechanical aptitude and openness to change.
• Follow all safety regulations and wear PPE as required.
