Relief Services in Chico, CA is seeking a dependable Septic and Plumbing Laborer to support our septic, sewer, and plumbing crews in the Chico area. This hands-on, outdoor role involves towing and backing trailers, preparing equipment, and assisting technicians while keeping job sites safe and professional.

You will learn on the job, work with experienced team members, and contribute to delivering quality service to local customers.

Qualifications

• Experience towing and maneuvering trailers.
• Familiarity with septic, sewer, or plumbing systems.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• Ability to safely use common hand and power tools.
• Dependable attendance and clear communication.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a field service team.
• Comfortable performing hands-on outdoor work around septic and sewage systems.

Responsibilities

• Prepare company vehicles, trailers, tools, and materials for scheduled service calls and projects.
• Inspect equipment and ensure crews have materials needed for each job.
• Safely connect, tow, back, park, and maneuver work trailers at residential and job sites.
• Locate and expose septic tanks, lids, cleanouts, and related components.
• Assist technicians with septic pumping, inspections, repairs, and installations.
• Support basic plumbing and sewer work as directed by the lead technician.
• Use common hand and power tools safely and appropriately.
• Dig, backfill, and assist with site preparation and restoration work.
• Follow safety procedures around septic and sewage systems.
• Share job updates and notes with the Operations Coordinator and lead technician.
