Symbrosia inc in Kailua-Kona, Hawaii seeks an Outdoor Macroalgae Technician to maintain and scale our outdoor algae systems. You will follow SOPs, GMP standards, and biosecurity protocols while contributing to regenerative aquaculture initiatives.

In this hands-on role you will monitor growth metrics, perform sampling and data entry, and support cross-functional projects with R&D, QA, and engineering teams to advance SeaGraze-based research and production.

Qualifications

• Execute daily outdoor macroalgae cultivation activities in accordance with approved SOPs, GMP standards, and biosecurity protocols.
• Monitor, document, and report key operational and biological metrics with high accuracy and timeliness.
• Complete scheduled sampling, testing, and data entry ensuring records are audit-ready and compliant with GMP and internal quality systems.
• Own assigned weekly and monthly performance targets, including yield consistency and protocol adherence, and escalate deviations promptly.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, QA, engineering, and data teams to support trials and scale-up initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Maintain outdoor systems, tools, and workspaces in a clean, organized, and inspection-ready condition.
• Protect Symbrosia’s intellectual property and confidential information at all times.
