Job summary

SA Recycling is seeking a Laborer to unload, process, and disassemble nonferrous scrap materials. The role includes yard maintenance, safety compliance, and operating equipment as needed. Work is outdoors in varying weather conditions with standard daytime hours. The position offers weekly pay, 401(k) with match, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualified candidates have a HS diploma/ GED, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to learn new tasks. Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 1 year general labor experience preferred.
• Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Ability to learn new tasks as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Unload, process, and disassemble nonferrous scrap materials.
• Document scrap material and supplier information into the ticketing system.
• Provide suppliers with an accurate receipt of delivered materials.
• Complete and submit all required reports per company policies.
• Maintain a safe environment for employees, customers, and visitors.
• Operate small equipment, such as a forklift; potential to operate larger equipment.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and report defects or repairs.
• General yard cleanup and maintenance including digging, sweeping, and weed control.
• Comply with all safety, health, and environmental rules and procedures.
