The Brookline Recreation Department seeks a Recreation Leader - Outdoor Recreation to develop, implement, coordinate, evaluate, and deliver outdoor programs for participants of all ages. You will support high-quality services through planning, staff supervision, community engagement, and operational support across programs and activities.

Qualifications include a preferred Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3–5 years in recreation or camp administration, with experience supervising staff

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 3–5 years in recreation or related field.
• Experience supervising staff or volunteers and working with families.
• Administrative experience and program development/delivery experience.

Responsabilités

• Plan, coordinate, and lead family-based outdoor recreation and nature programs.
• Coordinate Nature Summer Camp operations, staffing, supervision, and safety.
• Administer outdoor athletic programs (soccer, lacrosse, flag football, etc.).
• Recruit, hire, train, schedule, and supervise part-time and seasonal staff.
• Manage registrations, participant records, communications, and evaluations.
• Liaise with families, schools, community groups, vendors, and partners.
• Ensure safety, conduct inspections, and prepare incident reports.
