Railserve, part of Marmon Holdings, is hiring a Rail Switching Operator in Cincinnati, OH. This full-time, outdoor, hands-on role includes light administrative duties and on-the-job training for reliability-minded individuals.

You’ll work on locomotives, support switching operations, and assist with daily site operations. As an entry-level position, the role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and timely communication, with a rotating day/night schedule and overtime potential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to pass a physical, drug screen, and background check.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work outdoors.
• Climb on/off railcars, ladders and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Operate locomotives and assist with switching operations.
• Support safe movement and placement of railcars.
• Perform clerical tasks to support site operations and data entry.
• Assist in training new employees and prepare reports on delays or incidents.
• Follow all safety procedures and wear PPE.
