Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full Time Material Handler to work outdoors on our dock, inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for drivers and customers. The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and a hands-on approach in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers physical work outdoors, potential overtime, and a culture focused on safety and reliability across American communities.

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided.
• Must be 18+ with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock when applicable.
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders to maintain safety and quality.
• Keep yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions.
