Job summary

Ferrellgas is seeking a Full Time Material Handler to join our team. You will work primarily outdoors on the dock, inspecting, filling, loading, and unloading propane cylinders and tanks for delivery drivers and customers.

This hands-on role emphasizes safety and active, physical work. As part of a supportive team, you will help maintain yard cleanliness, perform required duties, and provide excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ year of work experience preferred; training provided for the right candidate.
• Must be at least 18 years old with a valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, repair, and load propane cylinders and tanks.
• Fill customer cylinders at the dock (when applicable).
• Scrape and paint tanks/cylinders as needed to maintain safety and quality standards.
• Keep the yard, plant, and office areas clean and professional.
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and sharing product information.
