Job summary

Cathleen Stone Island Outward Bound School is seeking a Program Manager to co-manage facilitators and course supervisors for Boston Public Middle School partners. You will oversee planning, delivery, and day-to-day operations of assigned programs on the island and with partner schools.

Responsibilities include managing partnerships, supervising staff, and coordinating enrollment paperwork while ensuring safety and high-quality programming. Start date Aug 3, 2026.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in a related field and 5 years of commensurate experience.
• Knowledge and field experience with urban school-based programs and/or Outward Bound.
• At least two years of experience supervising employees.
• At least three years of program management experience.
• Fluency in Spanish is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee program management and partnership coordination with Year-Round Connections schools.
• Develop and communicate program operations, schedules and budgets.
• Ensure safety and quality of program delivery; manage data and reporting.
• Lead, coach and develop Instructors and Course Directors.
• Attend staff meetings and collaborate with Admin team on trainings and performance reviews.
