Qualifications

• Proven success in outdoor recreation and event coordination.
• Manages scheduling, documentation, communication, reporting and follow-up.
• Strong familiarity with Google Suite, Canva, and Zoom.
• Experience planning and executing events, including logistics and project management.
• Demonstrated ability to build relationships with military families, local community members, and key stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver independent outdoor recreation meetup opportunities for local families, with a target of one event per month.
• Coordinate with staff at local national park sites for outdoor recreation activities; contractor retains discretion over communications.
• Track and log attendance for activities, using contractor-selected methods.
• Develop and implement ideas for highlighting meetup activities via social media and community channels.
• Disseminate printed or digital promotional materials to local civilian and military-facing networks.
• Identify and steward relationships with local parks and outdoor organizations for engagement.
