Job summary

Eagle’s Nest Foundation is seeking an Outdoor Education Manager to develop, deliver, and oversee ENF's outdoor programs across Camp, Hante, OA, and year-round activities. The role focuses on staff training, risk management, and alignment with the Foundation’s standards.

The OEM will supervise seasonal staff and OA residents, with 30–60 field days annually. Reporting to the Executive Director, the OEM will collaborate on curriculum design, certification pipelines, and program evaluation while

Qualifications

• B.A. or B.S. in a related field with prior outdoor education experience.
• Experience with risk management in outdoor settings.
• Experience with professional staff training, mentoring, and supervision.
• Wilderness First Responder required; Wilderness EMT desirable.
• Experience working with students in experiential education or residential settings.
• Well-developed planning and organizational skills.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Train and supervise outdoor program instructors for Camp, Hante, and OA in backpacking, canoeing, climbing, and biking.
• Design and teach outdoor education curricula and coordinate with instructors.
• Oversee risk management plans and safety procedures across programs.
• Manage outdoor program equipment budgets and inventory.
• AttendLeadership Team meetings and contribute to program development.
