Job summary

Hamshaw Outdoor Power & Rental in Keene, NH seeks a motivated Full-Time Sales & Service Associate to help contractors, DIYers, and homeowners select proper equipment and manage rentals. You will demonstrate safe operation, inspect tools on return, and perform basic maintenance while selling premium outdoor power brands.

You will handle rental reservations, explain safety features, process contracts, and provide friendly service.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, retail, or rental operations.
• Comfort with power tools, light construction equipment, or small engines.
• Able to explain equipment operation and safety features clearly.
• Ability to handle rental contracts, check-ins/outs, and payments accurately.
• Strong communication and team-focused attitude.

Responsibilities

• Help customers determine proper equipment, tools, or lawn machinery for projects.
• Explain operation, PPE requirements, and rental agreements clearly.
• Process rental contracts, check-ins/outs, and payments in the rental system.
• Inspect, test, and service equipment before/after customer use.
• Maintain safe, clean, organized rental floor and shop areas.
