Job summary

Kingsmill Resort is seeking a vigilant lifeguard for the outdoor pool area. The role reports to the Sportsclub Supervisor and focuses on water safety and guest service.

Requirements include lifeguard certification with CPR, AED and First Aid, ability to lift up to 100 lbs, and availability on days, nights, weekends and holidays. The position is outdoors with exposure to sun and varying weather. Hourly pay is stated at $14.

Qualifications

• Lifeguard certification with CPR, AED and First Aid required.
• Previous lifeguarding experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs and work outdoors in sun.
• Must be 16 years of age and available days/nights/weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pool activities and enforce rules at the outdoor pool.
• Maintain a safe, courteous atmosphere for guests and members.
• Check IDs to verify guests or members.
• Respond to emergencies and follow procedures for rescues.
• Assist in evacuations during lightning or other emergencies.
• Maintain pool area cleanliness including vacuuming, skimming, and litter removal.
• Housekeep locker rooms, tables, chairs, umbrellas, and lounge chairs.
• Assist sports staff with pool activities and events.
• Monitor and restock rescue equipment and first aid supplies.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
