Job summary

SavATree LLC in Mountainside, NJ is seeking a Plant Health Care Specialist to monitor, diagnose, and treat tree and shrub health issues within a territory. You will inspect plants, identify pests, and apply treatments.

You’ll prepare diagnostic reports for clients and educate them about landscape care, while working with a team that values learning, safety, and ongoing professional development. This hourly role comes with health and dental insurance, PTO, a 401(k) plan, and a Flexible Spending

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required or related experience preferred.
• Ability to inspect plants and identify pests, diseases, or other concerns.
• Excellent written, verbal, and listening skills to engage with clients effectively.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. and possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Inspecting plant material and identifying pests, diseases, or other concerns.
• Selecting and applying the most appropriate treatments to promote plant health.
• Preparing written diagnostic reports and educating clients about their landscape.
• Operating spray and application equipment safely and effectively.
• Working independently to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction.
